American Post-Ops is a Professional Rehabilitation Massage Therapy Center. We specialize in unique clinical treatment protocols called Manually Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Pre & Post-Surgical Manual Lymphatic Drainage (PS-MLD) and Pre & Post-Operative Recovery Massage (PORM) for Plastic Surgery/Oncology/Lymphedema/Lipedema/Orthopedic Patients. We have mastered the techniques. These specialized techniques will reduce pain and edema in the early post-surgical stage rapidly and make the recovery time much shorter.

• We offer the highest level of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Pre-Surgical Massage Therapy (PS-MT), Post-Surgical Manual Lymphatic Drainage (PS-MLD),and Post-Surgical Recovery Massage (PS-RM) performed only by registered, trained, properly credentialed and licensed practitioners in a sanitary, clean, and serene environment. Our therapists are highly trained and specialists in their field of work. They hold credentials earned at the best accredited institutions. We only hire therapists with live hands-on training of MLD only. We do not hire therapists that have received online training offered by fly by “2 days-weekend” programs.  All of our therapists have graduated from well-respected MLD educational institutes recognized by LANA-Institute (Lymphology Association of N. America).
• Our is a team of professionally trained certified, skilled, experienced and insured massage therapists. We are here to provide you with the professional clinical post-surgical recovery services, paramedical aftercare and education you need to help you with your wellness and post-surgery goals.
• Our massage therapists are professional therapists with multiple clinical experiences. They have passed and have been specially trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage-VODDER Techniques with KLOSE Training, Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and Academy of Lymphatic Studies.
• Our therapists are one of the few Certified Manually Lymphatic Drainage Therapists (CMLDT) available in The City of Orange, California and nearby cities. Together, we have been practicing manual therapy for more than 45 years. We are skilled in medical rehabilitation therapies with advanced training and updated knowledge in post-op available in the industry.

1. At our center, we are specialized in the Klose-European Vodder style of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is the foundation therapy for post-surgical recovery massage and the golden standard treatment for lymphedema . This massage is a gentle series of “skin stretching” with light pressure, relaxing pumping motion done to the skin. This massage technique is gentle enough to be used 48 hours after surgery. All of our therapists are certified in Vodder-CMLDT-Techniques and Klose/Academy of Lymphatic Studies Graduated.
2. As an ongoing process, our team members always participate in continuing education and keep themselves updated with the latest education and health related information. Each therapist is required to participate in 20 CE per year.
3. As time permits, we also participate in volunteer workshops at the City of Hope, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, ULCA Medical Center, USC Keck Hospital and local Cancer Community Centers.
4. As an on-going study we conduct case studies and take part in research and studies with other professionals.
